Can someone tell me what a "Yahoo[Bot]" is and why it is listed as a registered user?

Seems weird to see it listed as online as a registered user...

Yahoo and Google etc. crawl the web looking for words and info so, theoretically, your post might get linked on a search engine.

It's pretty simple. If someone does a search, and this site pops up in their search results. We'll see a bot on here, you can't even click on their profile or anything.

All it means is someone is searching for something else, and we are related. Or they are searching for us.

Thanks for the explanation, I had never seen it before and just thought it strange...

I've set very strict limitations on crawlers for the site, so much so that they can pretty much only open public threads and nothing more.
