Big update soon. No maps, just trying to write shit at this point. Here's some of the special stuff I've got in the works. Ideas and comments welcome, of course!
First of all, I've been dreaming up my own gods, several of which are very important to the story. There are several levels. There are the Progenitors, the two greatest beings from which were born the Six Trinities (although they all weren't once trinities!). Inside these trinities are two groups or realms, The Realm of Men and the Realm of Nature. Basically, this is how it goes:
I'm going to go ahead and post this even though I haven't developed personalities, descriptions, or even epithets for most of the gods. But this is what I have so far!

There are the three other original drakes, Naelyan, Grael, and Sairyss, but they are no longer worshipped.
And yes, Koro is named after Horo. There's a joke that Horo's name is actually Korbo, based on her
chicken-scratch signature from the Amarty arc, so I put Horo and Korbo together.
There are also the 9 Realms, ruled by the 6. They look like this:

Gahrd Aisen is the land of the living. If you want to think of it as super simple, is the planet. The long thing connecting it to six other realms is a river of souls, undeniably similar to the river Styx ot the Sanzu River, (currently) named the river Brahld. While leaving the world through this river a soul must eventually come upon the Great Fork. The Fork was once guarded by the now-God of Undeath Ixxas, once a mere pawn of the gods who made sure that all of the souls floating down the fiver ended up going down the correct branch of the river. His story is for another time. After passing the fork, a soul has 6 possible destinations:
Gwainohtrim, the Bastion of Heroes, where Taalia sends the sould of her most powerful champions, waiting to be reborn into the world if their services are ever needed.
Dirhyndrugg, the Bastion of Fiends, where Haxxas keeps his villains, vile dictators and terrible generals, for whenever he feels the need to forge a war.
Gel Eneth, where the most gentle and kind of people are rewarded with their hearts' desires.
Vanda Dor, where the most vile and wretched are punished for their misdeeds.
Darsza, where the countless normal people only overrun by their situation are given peaceful gardens to spend eternity in with their families.
And Prasza, a deep cold void only used to banish the most wicked of beings and souls.
On top of these 6 and Gahrd Aisen, there are Echedgeard, where the bright and kind gods reside. Ascaraithe is a deep pit where the wicked and dark gods reside.
