I'm not sure why, and this may be an issue on my end, but I'm experiencing really, REALLY high latency on the modpack server (with my internet fine otherwise, of course). I'm talking 5 seconds to break a block. I thought I didn't have permissions at first. The only thing that I can think of is that whoever's started building is already quarrying (I assume that's you), but I don't think one quarry would do all of this.

[Edit] I just thought of this, there is water in the bottom of the quarry-hole that this person's building in. Could that be it?

[Edit 2] Well, I went down and looked. I'm at least confident that the water's not helping. It's flowing into nooks and crannies, inside the main body of water there are seemingly random pillars of air all throughout, and for some reason the water isn't even flowing normally from one quarry-hole to another. It's made this big wall of water. Shit's jank, yo.

Same, 5ish seconds of lag and similar behavior.

Hmm... I'll see what I can do. I personally have two reactors, four turbines, and two mining lasers going, along with a bunch of other stuff for farming. It's all chunk loaded, but it should be alright.

I'm using the internet through a cell phone in a not-great coverage area, so I won't be able to do anything myself until I'm out in California for Christmas.

Ah damn, I keep forgetting to put the server start file in the startup folder for the computer. It'll be taken care of by tonight.

Well, that's no surprise. My hard drives are totally full. But what the hell is that noise?

Dunno what happened between yesterday and today but now every time I finish loading the game and go to join the server it crashes my game.

My game doesn't crash, but I share the inability to log in.



I got the message at first this morning but was able to just ignore it and log in by trying again. Not anymore, it seems.
