Torrent Server!

The server is now able to remotely download torrents! A web interface can be reached through a browser to load up and monitor torrents and downloaded files will automatically download to a torrent folder in the FTP server for easy access.

The interface can be found at http://aserverwith.no-ip.org:64296/gui and the port number will always stay the same, so save it to your favorites unless you want to retype the port number in the URL every time you visit!

I will place a bandwidth cap on my end at about 500kb download, just so my bandwidth doesn't get sapped. Keep in mind, also, that upload speed from the server (when pulling things from the FTP) is about 1mb/s (that's bit, not byte.)

If downloading video, by the way, please make sure to remove the video file from the FTP when you're done downloading the torrent. I came across a 320GB drive that I plan on using for the FTP, but until then we still have to be mindful of drive space.

Holy crap, look at that ratio! I was wondering why the internet was moving kind of slow at the server. We're a damn anime database, haha! I'll see if I can cap the upload speed of torrents, otherwise they'll kill the bandwidth and we're going to have to stop the torrents once they're done.

Rejoice, Hunter, for I am back at school and stuck with dorm internets once again.

This will soon be accessible from the front page navigation. One less random server URL to bookmark/remember.

I'm not entirely sure what happened to the torrent downloads folder, but it's showing empty on the FTP. It's also showing empty on the computer itself, but the files are still there. They can be accessed when I "open containing folder" from the torrent interface and when I type the folder's location (C:\ ... \torrent_downloads\kyuss).

If you know the location of the folder, it can be typed into the FTP remote site address bar found above the FTP file tree. Spaces in the folder name isn't an issue (ie: " ... /torrent_downloads/systems officer" will work). Files located inside torrent_downloads are inaccessible if they aren't in a subfolder! " ... /torrent_downloads/somefile.exe" can't be retrieved because it's not in a subfolder. I'm working on a fix for this. The labels are still there and the files still exist on the drive.

Pro tip: If the name of the torrent in the UI doesn't end in a file type (.mkv, .pdf, etc), that's the name of the subfolder you want to type to access the stuff inside. (ie: " ... /torrent_downloads/[e-d] - needless")
