Postby Ketvanin » Wed Jan 23, 2013 7:40 pm

Well, I've composed a list of my top 25 favorite games in order. I'm not ranking these in order of which ones are better, but which ones are my favorite. Anyway, post your top 25's if you have the time to make a ranked list.

1) Chrono Trigger
2) StarCraft
3) Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door
4) Psychonauts
5) Torchlight 2
6) Bastion
7) Pokemon Yellow
8) Banjo-Kazooie
9) The Binding of Isaac
10) Metroid: Zero Mission
11) Half-Life
12) Dead Rising
13) The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
14) Bioshock
15) Portal
16) Final Fantasy Tactics Advance
17) Megaman Battle Network 3
18) The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening
19) Soul Calibur
20) Fallout: New Vegas
21) Zoo Tycoon
22) Kirby 64
23) Warioland 4
24) Super Mario RPG
25) Plants Vs Zombies

I'm also considering doing a series of 25 articles explaining why each game is on the list, which might be a fun project.

I think what might be useful is a large list of games nominated for top 25 listing.

NEW PERSON, I'M SCARED.

It's too hard to order them, but I will mark the ones which are extra-special. These are games which I played through multiple times or got especially worked up about.

Warcraft 3
World of Warcraft
Diablo 3
Overwatch
Heroes of the Storm
Legend of Dragoon
Shadow of the Colossus
Final Fantasy IX

Final Fantasy XIII
Minecraft
Tomb Raider (2014)
Alan Wake
Bioshock

Bioshock: Infinite
Portal
Portal 2
Half-Life
Half-Life 2
Metal Gear Solid
Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty

Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
Star Wars: Battlefront II
Super Mario World 64
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

(And before you attack me about D3 instead of D2, D3 is just the game that I've spent more time on. Obviously been playing Blizzard games for half of my life, back in high school I almost died playing Warcraft 3, but I didn't get into Diablo until much later.)

I'd say you double-posted, but the lists are different...

Anyways, I know Pending is from CMA (Cal-Maritime), but I forget who it was because they joined on Sept 13th but they're only just now posting for the first time. (Three floors up and second on the right... Was that Klein's room before moving in with Troy? No stack info given.) **Edit: Yeah, I know who this is.

I don't know if I've even played 25 unique games. We'll see, though. No particular order to this:

1. Continuum (sometimes called Subspace)
2. RollerCoaster Tycoon 1/2
3. Starcraft, Broodwar
4. Diablo II
5. Path of Exile
6. Minecraft
7. Counter-Strike
8. Half-Life
9. Half-Life 2
10. Battlefield 2
11. Project Reality (BF2 mod)
12. Battlefield 3
13. Arma III
14. War Thunder
15. World of Warships
16. Ricochet 2
17. OverWatch
18. Portal
19. Portal 2
20. Banjo Kazooie
21. Banjo Tooie
22. World of Warcraft (BC/WotLK)
23. Star Wars: Rogue Squadron
24. VectorMan
25. SuperHot
We are each a beautiful and unique snowflake that will melt in hell.

If that was directed at me I was saying that I don't know what he was talking about in reference to my double-posting.

Oh I think he was just surprised to find 2 new posts with a similar format in an old thread.
