Looking for friends who want to game again.

So like I've mentioned a bit in Vent, I'm strongly considering starting up a free-to-play.

Right now, the two big contenders are Lord of the Rings Online and Star Trek Online.

This isn't something I want to take seriously, I just want a game to be able to play with friends. Log on, kill some monsters, do some quests, explore. Cool stuff, you know?

If you have any interest or suggestions for games, please let me know. A certain Tauren Warrior I know is interested to play as well.

I've been screwing around in the Planetside 2 Beta, which looks like it'll be pretty fun at release. I don't think it's what you're looking for, but I'm enjoying it. Between LotRO and STO... I dunno, I'd have to look at them a good bit.

I have another bud that wants me to start up STO. Maybe that's something to pursue.

Eh, that was just kind of me wanting to play a new game for the hell of it.

Now, if I do have the time and resources to play a game it will either be TERA Online or Guildwars 2.

I've heard a lot of good things about Guild Wars 2, but I dunno. Do I want to commit that much time to a game? I mean, I have the time, but not the internet (at least, not readily accessible in my room, where the gaming rig is.) I've also heard good things about TERA. So I dunno. /shrug

I've heard really good things about both, I've tried TERA and it's really fun. I've got a friend that I want to connect with that does already play. My main issue is that I don't have a computer, or money, or a house.

I'm mostly interested in connecting with friends through games.

The only one that seems to fit my needs is League of Legends, and it is for some reason a really hard game to get people to play.

I've heard of it. The staff at an anime expo I went to in '07 were handing out promo cards for it and I think I took the time to go to the website and look at it. I can't remember if I was at all interested, but I think it's worth a go, especially if it's free.
